As part of the project EWALD – Earth Observation for Early Warning of Land Degradation at the European Frontier (Horizon Europe, ID 101086250), our faculty hosted a research team from the ECOMM Co. Ltd (Kyiv, Ukraine). The colleagues Dmytro Vdoviko, Serhii Maltsev, Julia Lypska, Oksana Rozentreger from 16 April to 16 May 2024 together with members of the Department of Informatics created a working group. This group considered the problem of assessing land degradation in the framework of ArcGIS platform. The colleagues from ECOMM organized some lectures and master classes for introduction and working with ArcGIS platform.
